Nasya chikitsa or nasya therapy is one of the major therapies of panchakarmas, it includes instillation of herbal oils, juices or powder through the nasal route.

Nasya therapy provides solutions to various disorders or ear, nose & throat. It specially works on diseases of parts above the base of neck. Instilled nasal medicines bring all Dosha in throat along with sputum. Patient is then asked to spit it out through mouth. Thus Nasya helps to remove vitiated dosha through mouth.
