
What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is a system of medicine with historical roots in India. The word “Ayurveda” is derived from combination of two Sanskritwords – “Ayush” which means life and “Veda” which means science. Thus Ayurveda means science of life. Founder scholars of this science, which include greats like, Acharya Charaka, Acharya Sushruta and Acharya Vagbhatahave outlined the aim of Ayurveda, as follows

Panchakarmas
Panchakarma (five actions) is a cleansing and rejuvenating program for the body, mind and consciousness. It is known for its beneficial effects on overall health, wellness and self-healing.

Vaman
Vamana Karma, also known as medical emesis or medical vomiting.

Virechana
It's useful mostly in Pitta disorders. Many gastrointestinal & dermatological ailments are cured by this therapy.

Nasya
Nasya chikitsa includes instillation of herbal oils, juices or powder through the nasal route.

Basti
Ayurvedic Basti involves injecting herbal substances like oil and decoction in a liquid medium into the intestine.

Raktamokshan
It is done either by venous section or by applying Leech. Leech adhere to skin and sucks blood.
Dincharya
Dincharya is the group of daily activities that you can do to stay in balance, prevent diseases and treat almost any disease.
Ritucharya
As we know the nature and human being have close relation with each other. The changes in nature directly or indirectly affects human body.
